Breaking the “good news” to his party workers in a mammoth gathering in PPP’s stronghold Gari Khuda Bux of Naudero, Sindh, Zardari revealed he will contest the election from Nawabshah while Bilawal will kick start his parliamentary politics from Larkana.
The former president also criticied Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his cordial ties with his Indian counterpart saying, “Mian sahib, have you ever thought of the children in Kashmir as to what do they feel when you have luncheons with Narendra Modi.”
“I am not coming to the Parliament to topple you; we only intend to teach you certain things, to consult with you on national issues,” the PPP co-chairman addressed to the prime minister.
“We have fought dictators, but never raised our voice against the military,” he added.
Zardari, who returned last week to the country after 18 months of ‘self-exile’, highlighted the Kashmir issue besides further slamming the prime minister. “We will not spare Mughal Badshah as it has been decided.”
He also supported the suggestion of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should be placed under judiciary.
Zardari had left the country in June last year following a hard-hitting speech, in which he lashed out at the military establishment for overstepping its domain. source ... https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/headline/good-news-zardari-bilawal-to-contest-election-for-na/
