QUETTA – At least one security personnel has been martyred and 45 other people including recruits have been wounded as terrorists attacked Police training centre at Syriab road area of the provincial capital on Monday late night.
Two terrorists have been killed and 200 police recruits freed in the attack, Balochistan Home Minister, Sarfraz Bugti confirmed.
According to media details, terrorists held hostage police personnel while firing between terrorists and security forces being continued.
Additional police and forces personnel have been called.
As per details, four terrorists entered in the police training centre and started indiscriminate firing that led to retaliation by police.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has placed the number of attackers at 5-6.
Some sources reported that terrorists held hostage the 200 police personnel, who were present in the building at the time of the terrorist attack, Abbtakk TV reported.
Meanwhile, the heavy contingency of police and security forces have cordoned off the building as firing and blast being heard.
