LAHORE – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed immense grief over the killing of Kashmiri leader Burhan Wani and other innocent Kashmiris at the hands of India troops.
In a statement, PM Nawaz said massacre of citizens by the Indian forces is condemnable and use of force against Kashmiris is regrettable, adding that unarmed Kashmiris cannot be deterred from their rightful struggle for self-determination on gunpoint. He said right to self-determination is just demand of Kashmiris in the light of UN resolutions.

The PM also urged India to respect human rights in Occupied Kashmir. He called on India to fulfill its commitment to hold plebiscite in Kashmir to ascertain will of the people for their future alignment with either Pakistan or India.
